Robert is working in Oxford and sending money home whilst Ruby Pratt has returned from Pontefract after splitting with her gentleman friend. Gabriel Cochrane, whose wife has died and whose foundry has been repossessed by the bank, comes to Candleford, penniless, and Dorcas employs him in her forge where the work interests Sydney. After Edmund has collected money from Robert at the post office, he arrives home saying he has been robbed. The whole village rallies round Emma.

2 ) Lark Rise just like one of my dreams
well these days Xi'an's weather is too much hot,I feel it is much more hotter than my hometown.
I have finished watching this TV show at last,and at the ending I think I have already get the main idea of this art production.
there are at least three important events in the ending:the harvester will change the lifestyles of famers';women may get more power and rights than before and the traditional faith is meeting challenge.
in a word,maybe the old village's lifestyle will be changed soon.
it is not so much difficult to find that the author was not sure that this kind of changes is good or not,but she believes that communities and families are useful and unless in every time.

哈哈哈哈絕了這個(gè)翻譯
第三季第四季的字幕，都超級(jí)搞笑
于是我這種看劇從不主動(dòng)關(guān)注字幕人員的，特意去看了片頭的字幕署名

哈哈哈哈，這個(gè)借喻真的絕了。還有“太意外了就”，倒裝句哈哈哈絕，我有時(shí)候說話也這樣。雖然我也不是山東人。
印象中是第三季第四季，字幕臺(tái)詞超級(jí)棒，真的是太妙了！??！時(shí)不時(shí)就有特有趣的說法，感覺英語臺(tái)詞被完完全全地轉(zhuǎn)換成了中文的語法語境語意，給這部劇錦上添花??
就連劇中的歌兒，都特別押韻
充明，柴智哈哈哈哈哈給力啊
這里這么翻譯，是因?yàn)榕⒉磺宄f的聰明才智兩個(gè)詞的正確讀法，就像小孩子發(fā)音不正確一樣，充明，柴智哈哈哈哈哈
6 ) 雀起鄉(xiāng)的故事
隨著Downton Abbey的落幕, 我也刷完了整四季的Lark Rise to Candleford。
不知為何雀起鄉(xiāng)的故事匆匆就收了尾，還有那么多情節(jié)沒有來得及交代，比如Alf的爹去了哪里、他之前那個(gè)鄰村女友怎么莫名就消失了、Dorcas的初戀鄉(xiāng)紳又去了哪里、Laura的爹是不是去了唐頓娶了Anna就拋棄Emma了。。。。
劇中最愛的角色是Queenie，她和Dorcas都是樂于助人有能力助人，Q比D更加強(qiáng)大, Q助人于無形，助人于天然，她精通醫(yī)術(shù)養(yǎng)蜂編織以及心術(shù)，是雀起鄉(xiāng)的靈魂人物
另外看到好多天堂百貨（彼岸是天堂 the paradise）的熟面孔。這部劇也已經(jīng)完結(jié)，
1，laura 在天堂百貨里演一個(gè)貴婦
2，minnie 在天堂百貨里演服裝店員
3，fisher 在天堂百貨里是老板身邊的助手（氣質(zhì)變了好多）

第3，5級(jí)好看！
Daniel Parish是鎮(zhèn)上最好看最有魅力的男人，長(zhǎng)得好端正呀，荷爾蒙的那種端正??Twister Turrill是雀起鄉(xiāng)最可愛呱噪的老頭??這一季關(guān)于Miss Lane、Laure、Emma的情節(jié)都想跳著看，那么aggressive不省心
pity that this is the last series of Lark Rise to Candleford
很好的劇，和有些朋友相反，第一季還不是很吸引，有一搭沒一搭看著，第二季開始一發(fā)不可收拾了。每個(gè)人物都那么精細(xì)，可愛，生動(dòng)。很多英劇的劇情初初給人感覺像是沒劇情一樣，但其實(shí)平靜卻十分有生命力。是看過的很喜歡的英劇之一啦！
出片尾的時(shí)候心里空落落的，前幾天看完第三季還抱怨有點(diǎn)累，今天現(xiàn)世報(bào)就來了??我放聲大哭，我好舍不得他們嗚
哎呀，大結(jié)局了，淡淡的傷感啊
每集都有感動(dòng)，每集都有道理
感情線發(fā)展的太快了吧。不過大團(tuán)圓大好
覺得james真可憐，兒子都管人家叫媽了也沒娶到dorcas
3.5；總算都happy ending了，愿劇內(nèi)劇外一樣平和溫暖；Laura的日記視角不錯(cuò)。
美好的鄉(xiāng)村生活，真不舍得就這么結(jié)束了~~~
Lark Rise to Candleford Season 4 (2011)
有點(diǎn)累 沒字幕……
好像看的久了，劇情有點(diǎn)接不上了。miss ruby何時(shí)回來了？雀起鄉(xiāng)之父出門務(wù)工了。鐵鋪來了大叔。6集的長(zhǎng)度，希望miss lane能夠有好的歸宿。鄉(xiāng)村城鎮(zhèn)河蟹發(fā)展
終于在英文字幕陪伴下看完了第三第四季。從幾年前濕冷的新年開始，總是在等待更新中，速度又是極慢，似乎這個(gè)緩慢的故事永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)結(jié)束。第二季和第三季的前幾集總是漫不經(jīng)心地掠過，當(dāng)做頭腦的清洗，總是靈魂不在場(chǎng)的狀態(tài)，然而到了最后，那柔和的金黃色調(diào)，細(xì)致溫和，如同深藏的記憶，舍不得放下，永遠(yuǎn)
比前幾季水準(zhǔn)下降了些,感覺有點(diǎn)虎頭蛇尾,不過總算是大結(jié)局了,沒看到Laura和Daniel的婚禮是最大的遺憾,這季那么短是經(jīng)費(fèi)不足么導(dǎo)演????
最愛最不舍的一部劇。沒有驚心動(dòng)魄，也沒有跌宕起伏，但這就是我所向往的生活。人們會(huì)犯錯(cuò)，也會(huì)傷害別人，但最珍貴的是寬恕他人和被他人寬恕。
最終季只有六集，然而停留于此刻只會(huì)令人悵然若失，最有勇氣的依然是moving on。
